This site is dedicated to the memory of Leonard Sidney Sutton.

This page is in honour of my Dad. He was more than just a Dad he was an adopted Uncle and Papa to many. He always welcomed people in to his life with love and compassion. In his 80 years on the earth he had many Jobs but this one he used to recite tales from his days on the trawlers and then expeditions that would keep him away at seas for 9 months or more. They were happy stories but there was also the more solemn side. He witnessed lives lost and ships sunk. Despite his career choice we always amused that my father never ever learnt to swim. He was most happy when in the company of friends and family. He would wear a smile and offer comfort to those who needed it. Given his past at sea in only seemed fit to hold a collection in his name for the life boats So if you have a smile when you think of him please donate.
